Hello pilots,

As you've probably seen by now, new Bylaws have been approved by High Command. One of the big changes is that we are no longer referred to as "fleets". Our official designation is now "division". However, this is just semantics meant to reduce confusion as to who the FC is. Fleet CO = Division CO, so that means you still have a voice on HC. I hope that everyone takes the time to read Kaz's news article for comparisons between the old and new versions.

Tour 2 is REALLY delayed. There are several factors involved with this. Our missions are still in development by two guys who are really busy and probably really tired from all the work they've done on Tour 1. This is partially due to the lack of dedicated mission testers. I try when I can, but life in general conspires against me. So, if you want to be a tester, contact Vaughan as Logistics Officer or Seeks as TacOps Coordinator. I would suggest that you be at least a Major before applying. Also, our narrative writers seem to have fallen down on the job. The last I heard from Vaughan, only 1 person had turned in their assigned section. So, if you are a narrative writer, please get it in gear!

Also, I still haven't gotten an End-of-Tour celebration out because the Tour 1 wrap-up narrative hasn't been posted yet, and we were instructed not to release our individual Division celebrations until that particular narrative was out.

Basically, I just want everyone to know that things aren't dead. Something to bide our time between missions should be in the works soon so that we will have something to keep us occupied until the next Tour mission comes out. Also, let's keep our mission builders in our thoughts and try to encourage them to keep up the good work. What they do isn't easy, and we don't really have enough to prevent burnout of some kind. Let's just chalk this up to people needing a breather between tours.
