Well, my friends, according to the ever gracious and absolutely God's gift to the world, David Vaughan, it is that time for the end of the tour and the beginning of a new one. It is something that brings change, not only in missions flown and storyline (awesome story line, by the way), but also in command staff. That's right; you read that correctly- there is a change in command staff. As some of you who have been inquiring after my real life career and already know the changes that I will embark on tomorrow, this will not come as too much of a surprise; for those of you who do not know me, this might. I am relinquishing command of Redemption Fleet to my faithful XO, BGN Markus Jarnhann. As the Spartans of old had done for years and millennia, I will give a recounting of my tenure as RFCO. I was appointed RFCO some time ago, fresh from my stint as PSGXO and saw much promise and much success. Zealot Wing was flourishing and a few wings were lacking in command staff. There were a few that did not even reply to my requests for status updates. So, I trimmed the dead wood, tried to revitalize the dying, promoted the living, and created a new wing. The new wing is a look into the quite-possible future of gaming in the SW universe and something that I've been toying with for some time. Dismal Dupar stepped up to the plate after hearing me question people about it and formed the Leviathan Security Force (LSF for short). LSF focuses solely on console gaming (XBox 360, PS2/3, and the Wii) and looks forward eagerly to the release of The Force Unleashed. Their numbers may be small at the moment; however, I think this wing will go very far. Righteous Indignation Division (RID) has had it's share of toad invasions and shoot-first-ask-questions-later mentalities, but things are going well- membership is up, participation in ITODs are seeing obscenely high turnouts, their IRC channel has been registered with X, and are doing very well with integrating RSCD into itself. Zealot Wing is doing very well with activity up and many hilarious reports and a great time with a live multiple posting event that was awesome, to say the least. All in all, I cannot complain too much.

I will be going on leave from now until Tuesday at the latest to next Thursday. I have no regrets with this and I have definitely learned a lot with this command post. I'll still be around, free-lance writing for the Logistics Office for the various events that I hope you will enjoy in the future, and maybe getting back into the command game sometime in the future. For now, I need to focus on adaptation and allowing for others to take up the torch. As the RF website so proudly proclaims, so long and thanks for all the fish.
