Seasons Greetings everyone,
After recently discussing about how to help the RS grow we came up with the idea of doing Testimonials. We feel it is best to let you, the members do the talking. This is your chance to share some of your experiences. It matters not whether you’re a newer member or one of our more tenured veterans.
This is open to all, so show some of your RS pride and write a small paragraph of 100 to 500 words with 500 being the max. This is all we are looking for is an honest account of why you joined the RS, what the RS means to you, and why you’d encourage other Star Wars fans to become members of the RS. Feel free to include your RS rank, real life & RS experiences, and the examples of the fun you’ve had here.
By doing it this way we feel it will give the best diversity of ranks, & tenures, as well as the activities we have to offer. Also the more submissions we receive will give us more to work with both internally as well as externally. With the holidays around the corner we feel it best to run this for the next 2 weeks and then do it again every so often there after. By doing so we believe this will allow us to keep things fresh by getting new perspectives from more of our members.
For our first run drive we will begin as of Monday December 7th and go until 11:59 PM EST on Monday December 21st. During which time we will collect and arrange each of submissions for posting. After the December 21st deadline a new news post will follow sharing each of the Testimonials you and your fellow members submitted. This will be on or about the 24th in which the top three Testimonials and General Participation will be awarded accordingly.

I really enjoyed the testimonials that were shown in the forums. I think it was a great idea and shows that this is really good group. They were one of the reasons I decided to join what seems like an outstanding organization.
