Greetings members of the Rebel Squadrons!

As part of the RS reorganization project currently underway, High Command has done quite a bit of work re-examining and modifying the RS bylaws - the standards that defines how the club works and how we define ourselves as members.

It is my pleasure to share with you the first of many updates and changes that will be occurring in the upcoming months - the update to Section 5 of the RS bylaws and the brand new Rebel Squadrons Code of Conduct.

High Command passed the changes to Section 5 of the bylaws a little under two weeks ago and they were ratified unanimously by the Council of Justice last week. The final component, the Rebel Squadrons Code of Conduct was submitted to me for approval on Monday and after discussion with the CoJ, I approved it last night.

As such, these bylaws and the Code of Conduct are effective beginning today, April 22nd. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the Bylaws changes here (http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/bylaws/judiciary.php) and the new Code of Conduct which can be found here (http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/codeofconduct). My personal thanks go out to the members of High Command who all worked on these changes, specifically Lamin Zykara who took it upon himself to structure a lot of the wording and drafts, and Josh Hawkins, for taking time out of his day today to make sure these were uploaded to the RS site.

A quick note about the FC election before I close this - candidates are still being vetted by High Command and discussion is progressing. It is my personal hope that Licah, acting as administrator of this election, and High Command will be ready to call a vote within the next several days and a new FC can be installed by the end of the month. In the meantime, feel free to check out the FC Election Posters on the forums, and contact any of your friendly neighborhood HC members if you still have questions you'd like posed to the candidates.

":)
