Hello there folks! Richo is on LOA, so it's time for me to do something that has not been my job in a year! I hope you enjoy reading this since I'm enjoying trying to write it. First things first, the results of 303!
Renegade Cup
Well now folks....this one goes to an old timer, a true veteran. If memory recalls, he was CO himself at one point. You know, after all this time, he still helps people out. Congratulations RA David "Heavy" Pasiechnyk! Take the 303B Renegade Cup.
Intrepid Cup
CPT Jay Forerunner, come on down! You know what, you make a good pilot. You took the Renegade Cup last time, and you're taking the Intrepid Cup this time! Good work. Now, some friendly advice: Don't let it go to your head, newbie. I've seen that tendency. Again, good work, and have another cup!
Mission Report Medal
You guys just love to make my decision on this a difficult one, don't you? Well, that's a good thing! There were several good narratives this month that I felt were worth 4 points, but there was one that was worth 5! Well done LCM Tá'Ré Djo! This is the second time in a row that you've gotten this medal. As a side note, this one was already awarded when I wrote this, the rest will come soon after publication.
Top Gun
This one wasn't even close, it goes to RA David "Heavy" Pasiechnyk, with 29 points. Now folks, I feel compelled to say something here. Twenty of those points came from multiplayer matches. Let that be a lesson to you all! Play some MP for once, it would look good for you, and help you get more points. Behind him were CPT Jay Forerunner with 17 and LCM Tá'Ré Djo with 15. Again, multiplayer is good.
Top Squadron
Dagger....Dagger, Dagger, Dagger. You blew everyone out of the water again, and you seem to be quite good at that. Dagger had 137 points. Second place was actually a tie between Red Dragon and Resurrection, with 96 points. Well done folks!
Vigilance Dagger
Well now, that's something I haven't had to mention in a while. We actually had a squad where everyone reported. Congrats, Red Dragon! You get a Vigilance Dagger for 303.
Merit Calculations
If any of you are curious, you can now check out the calculation for the merits for VSG 303. I advise you to look if you don't know how this works. Look at http://vsg.rebelsquadrons.org/history and scroll to Tour 3 mission 3 session. That'll tell you how this is calculated. If any of you didn't know, a negative score is better than a zero
Promotions
Well, no need to get everyone excited. I'm acting CO, I can't award these. I'll go see Kirghy about a few of them though. At least you folks get medals.
VSG 401
Yeah, yeah...the next mission is 401. Well, guess what? It's not ready yet, because people aren't testing the missions! That includes me. We could always use some help here. If you are interested in mission testing, please let us know. We can get these out when we know bugs are gone!
Well, that's it for me. We just need people testing on 401! Richo will be back soon enough, and I hope to have a mission out by then. Drop a line if you want to help! Fly right guys!
