RS Fiction Department Now Taking Applications
Greetings RSers!
As you may have noticed by the headline, the RS Fiction Department needs some help in revitalizing the RS's fictional storyline. Our current objectives, as described by Fleet Commander Hawkins, are two-fold:
1. Create an RS storyline that can be used for mission building. This would be a revival of the Unified ITOD that was in effect from 2006 to 2008 (I think those are the correct years). The downside at this time is that this will require a coordinated effort with the Logistics Office, and I'm not sure we have an LO.
2. Revive the RS's run-on fiction division: Right now, that is the Zealot Special Operations Unit. We can keep the name or not, it doesn't really matter. We just need to get people writing together again. This is something we can get started without an LO in the short term.
As the Writing Platform Coordinator, I am taking applications for staff members to help get both of these off of the ground again. You do not need to be a writer to apply. We need people with a healthy imagination just as much as we need writers themselves. If you do both, that is excellent. That's cool and pretty much what I expected, which is why I wasn't even going to ask you to. However, I could use some help with general planning, whether for the RS-wide story or for Zealot/whatever-it-is and figure that a couple of advisers with years of writing experience could come in handy. If the two of you are interested, that is.Oh, and I still need more people, so get those applications in!
