Session info - addendum
In my haste to get you all that information, I forgot one important detail. The activity of the month.
Thanks to LCL Lunac`her`inar, Shannor on IRC, we have been given some rules for selling products. Quoted Directly from IRC:
On the subject of what you can sell for RS stuff, I'm in a licensed Star Wars costuming club, and the rules we were given by LFL were as follows:
Without the express written permission of LFL, you may not sell, for profit, or use in charity cases, the words "Star Wars", or the logo, nor those images recognised as copyright by LFL, including the Imperial cog, Rebel crest, Jedi Order crest, Mandalorian skull, and any of the fighter craft.
Which means, as long as we don't use any icons, ships or just about anything that is instantly recognizable as "star wars" is ok. That being said, "Rebel Squadrons" is good to go.
So you're activity of the month: Create a new logo for the RS. Don't worry if you suck at graphics...come up with a detailed description, and a couple of us can work out something for you. Even if it's a sketch, some thoughts on a whim, jot it down.. as long as there is enough detail we can create something.
Now this does not mean we're going ahead with a project, this just brings us one step closer, there are still other things to do, but this is an important step.
At the end of the session, we'll be taking ideas on how to improve each one, and then bringing it to a vote. Everyone will get to vote on the new logo. This is your club after all.
Good luck everyone!
