Welcome, Gentlebeings,

I wrote this News Article to answer some of the questions that can keep a member in the dark about the OTS course.

"How do I apply?" - well, my friends, I strongly recommend reading the course's Wiki page here:
http://wiki.rebelsquadrons.org/index.php/Officer_Training_School
('strongly recommend' means I will laugh at anyone who doesn't read it, and they will probably lose a few points since they won't be able to answer certain questions in the tests)

"Where do I sign up?" - as above

"Who do I contact about the OTS?" - me, but as above

Now that I have answered all of these important questions, I have to move on to a really important thing:

The OTS is currently full, due to the limited number of instructors. The course has 3 instructors at the moment, and we can't and won't deal with more than 1 trainee at a time. It's better for everyone this way.
So, if You are interested in the course (and have read the Wiki page already), write me an email, and I will make a list of all the members who wish to join the OTS. As soon as one officer graduates, I will reach out for the first available member on the list to get them set up ASAP.

Thank you for reading this, and hope to see all of you in the course someday!

Also note, if you are interested, and are accepted by Adam and the crew, you may be selected to become an instructor.

It pains me to no end that no one in the RS is ever able to figure out the simple html code to make a freak'n link clicky....

Can you teach that in freak'n officer's training school?

MGN Adam Mieter - Tue May 08 2012, 8:13pm
No, we can't. Although people can just copy and paste the link in their address bar. I know, I know, it takes 4 seconds. ;)

There I made it a clicky.. cause C&P just takes too long to do ;)

I know that C/P doesn't take much extra time, but we're in an immediate gratification world and I'm sure at least 25% of folks that hit links they'd have to C/P instead of clicking will just skip it and not bother.

If we want people to do stuff, we have to not be lazy ourselves ;-p

Hey, if they didn't click on the link in Josh's NL when it was a clicky, and they won't click on mine because it's not clicky, then I don't really want them in my preciousssssssssss OTS anyways! Hah!

Josh, thank you for making it a clicky!

Members: don't be lazy kriffs, that's not how we do thing around here! Atten-HUT!
