End of one/ Start of a new Session
Hello there fellow RS'ers!
I first want to apologize for getting this out a little bit behind schedule. Without further ado, here are the results from the close of the last session.

New Session:
The new session will be from 3/10/13 to 4/21/13. As you can see, the missions are already up, so get flying!!!
For our writing section this month, COM Krighy Lommax has decided on a writing competition. Short narrative/story. 1000 words max. The entries MUST be in by 4/12/13 because the members will decide who the winner is by a poll vote on the forums. This will allow 1 week of reading/voting time before the session ends.
LCM Hermus Dogan has left us a news post about the XWA and XVT missions, if you are interested in those games, I would suggest reading that.
LGN Daryus Zalyn`Cya should have a news post up soon about upcoming TOR events.
For the simmers, or anyone who is interested in watching and/or learning, feel free to log into the #Allegiance room on IRC, but PLEASE be conscious and courteous. If a sim is in progress do NOT speak openly in the channel. The calendar on the Active ITODs section of the main screen is fairly accurate, but Raven also holds something on Saturdays, there are upgrades on Sundays, and there are random sims during the week.
Also as I metioned in my last post for those of you that like to play games on Xbox. Contact LGN Markus Jarnhann about the tournament he’s got in mind on games like Halo and such. If interested please drop him a line to get the details and times.
Activity of the Month:
This session we thought it would be fun to come up with some things to promote the club. There are MANY people out there that enjoy Star Wars as much as we do, we just have to come up with creative ways to get our name out there. This session, your task is to create a business card for either the club itself, or your character; OR create a promotional flier.
Promotions/Medals:
At this time I would like to recognize Lieutenant Commanders Hermus Dogan and Jelf Boom.
BGN Adam Mieter:
"Both officers have demonstrated continuous activity and dedication to our club in these hard times."
I therefore promote both of you to the rank of full Commander. Congratulations!
Next I like to recognize someone else which I was planning on doing at the end of the session. However with all that has happened recently I'd almost forgotten. LCL Tá'Ré Djo at the squadron level you've been most active in Red. Not only as a good squad mate by as Reds, SO, XO, and now CO. For all the times you've had my back and kept everyone going when I was detained at times by RL. Also most notably having it again with this post after some technical issues put me behind schedule. For your dedication and all the leg work you have done and will do I thank you I hereby Promote you to full Colonel. Congratulations!
Also in accordance with RS Tradition Drinks are on you all!
BGN Adam Mieter has received the RS Academy Command Staff Medal for his dedication to the Academy, rewriting and implementing the OTS, and communicating with new members before being asked, even when they are not part of his section.
2LT Galen McGrath has earned his Cadet Graduate Medal in XWing Alliance.
LGN Daryus Zalyn`Cya and CMDR Hermus Dogan have both received RS Academy Instructors Medals.
ADM Danny Qatar is awarded the Kessel Cup for his never ending dedication to promote the Rebel Squadrons on multiple platforms, and for being one of the oldest - in terms of service years - active members of our Fleet!
