Greetings all,

Earlier this week I started to Award the medals for the End of Tour as you all have noticed. I believe Cody did and thank you sir for sharing them on our Facebook page. I had hoped to do this differently unfortunately gremlins reared there ugly heads in the form of some technical difficulties. For this I apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this may have caused. However this is a time of Celebration, Remembrance, and Reflection as another year has passed.

We celebrate not just the past year but each other and the club as a whole. We remember the good, the bad, the indifferent and the loss/gain of friends new as well as old. We reflect on the trials and paths we have taken both individually and the RS as a whole. For some of us we’re in new roles even far beyond our own expectations. We also look forward to the challenges that lay ahead and together we can overcome any adversity no matter how big or small.

It’s also a time to reignite the passion and creativity in all of us and see where it leads. As troubles arise it’s our creativity that will trump all adversity and allow us to overcome anything. More often than not it’s through our creativity we’ll have to rely than anything else. The best part is we have a fleet load of knowledge, experience, and yes very creative people. Those are resources that are more than any FC could ask for and gives me hope.

Mia your activity has been noticed maybe not as often as it should be however know I have. There isn’t a session that goes by without seeing its share of your reports and consistently so hence the Tour Champion award. I also know that you step up to help out where you can.
