Sins of a Galactic Empire

Hello, Everyone!
In my search for usable Star Wars games, I stumbled upon this mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. It looks good, it's rated very well (8.9 out of 10 on moddb, #100 out of 20.145 mods), and it definitely runs on new systems. It was first released in December of 2011, and to this day the devs are still improving it (well, at least last month they were).
If we would add this as an officially supported game (probably to replace/expand on the EaW games), would you guys be interested in playing it?

Might be fun, but a match would probably take hours to complete. I haven't actually played Sins since before the first expansion came out, though, so I've no idea how much different it might be.
