As part of my State of the Rebel Squadrons address posted yesterday, I had a large stack of awards and nominations to hand out. Unfortunately, I let a few very important nominations slip through the cracks. I am profoundly sorry for this, and want to take this opportunity to recognize two more award recipients.

First up: Captain Jaran "Gunsmoke" Farlance, front and center! Admiral Hawkins has put in a nomination for you, in light of all the bugs you have logged into the IO system so that he could fix them. He said that not only have you posted bug reports, but you've helped him in testing and tracking down more. In recognition, it's my great pleasure to award you a Merit Commendation! Well done!

Admiral Cyrel Vandroth, front and center! Admiral Vandroth, you have been nominated by Admiral Hawkins for your work squashing bugs in the ABG website. To quote the good Admiral: "The same bugs the main site had, the ABG had. Soon as I told him how to fix it, he was off and fixed pretty much all the important pages of the ABG. Thus he saved me a lot of time and grief." In recognition of your assistance to the IO and service to the club, I'm pleased to present you with the Alliance Dagger. Congratulations!

I'd also like to take a moment to recognize Admiral Josh Hawkins, who has been tirelessly working behind the scenes on correcting myriad bugs that have occurred since we upgraded some parts of the RS web server. In spite of the overwhelming amount of work this gives him, he still found time to nominate two of his fellow officers for awards. In recognition of Josh's work both as an executive and as an officer, I'm pleased to present him with the Iridium Spire. Congratulations, Josh!

My congratulations to each of you on the award, and my apologies for not including these in the State of the Rebel Squadrons address. Until next fast, shoot straight, and may the Force be with you!

Sincerely yours,

Commodore Lamin Zykara
Rebel Squadrons Fleet Commander
