Objective: Hammerfall: Aftermath
Overseeing Officer: FA Lucas Benoit-Stark
Maximum Possible Points: 10
Participant Overall Objective: With the Titan conflict seemingly over, the personnel and political damage ripples throughout the morale and the reputation of the Republic Shield. Commodore Xyla Xuana, enamored by the prospect of newfound peace, leans towards pushing the Republic Shield into complying with the controversial Military Disarmament Act. A house divided, the Republic Shield and its members share different outlooks on the newfound direction. After the initial post which sets the stage for the members of the Republic Shield, members will write a response illustrating their character’s position and response to the idea of the Republic Shield joining the MDA.
Individual Scoring: IronMan/Codyman will GM the story. Scoring will take place based on the number of posts per each session. There will be 3 major phases, one for each month. If that requirement is met, then the total words from posts will be tallied. Extra points will be given for joint posts or creative/witty actions, and whether or not objectives have been met. (Joint posts will share the number of words in the posts). Bonus points will be factored in for creativity, humor, and joint posts among peers.
RS Defeat: Results will depend on the amount of fictional writings and responses. Good luck.

Galen woke up strapped into a seat on the transport. He didn’t remember much of anything after stumbling back to the group after the attack on Synder. He didn’t remember being dragged onto the transport. Galen hadn’t come to until people started disembarking.
First thing Galen did after peeling himself out of the seat on board the transport was make his way through the crowd in the hangar of the Windstorm II with aims on getting out of the filthy armor. He glanced down at the blood splatters and wondered if Synder was still in that corridor when Titan went up. On the way through, he saw smaller craft in the hangar in various states of disrepair, a sight common after a large battle. SAR crews were still launching from the vessel, searching for possible survivors among the wreckage cluttering the system.
He eventually made it to the Vidalia, exhausted and ready to be done with the day. He got the filthy plastoid armor off and washed the funk of the mission off in the shower. He eagerly awaited what would HAVE to be some well-earned R&R after what seemed like constant fighting against the forces led by the SSD whose remains were still burning in the system. As the hot water rained over him, he reflected on what happened aboard the Titan. He figured that one thing HC would probably have him do would be seeing a psychiatrist, especially after he completely lost it for a bit.
After he got out and dressed, he took a fighter over to the station where it seemed that everyone would be gathering for whatever post-combat conference would be occurring. He hoped that one thing he’d heard about would be addressed: the Commodore holding Republic Shield to the Military Disarmament Act. He hoped it was all just a rumor. He knew that a fair number, including himself, would likely not take well to it and possibly bail. Mutinies throughout galactic history had been started over much less and he knew that would be possible with Republic Shield, especially with some of the troublemakers in the fleet. The question would be if he would join them or if he would just try to convince Helena the Redemption mechanic to leave with him on the Vidalia.
