ITOD: OP 19: Capture Corvette X
Briefing
- A heavier version of the Empire's new shield technology is being fitted to a Corellian Corvette. This prototype is to be captured just before it begins testing.
The development test site has been made to appear to be an ordinary Patrol Squadron base. The Imperial Gunboats [Red] Squadron helped capture will now be used to escort Y-wing [Red One] into the base area.
The Gunboat crews will claim to be escorting a defecting Rebel pilot. This deception should allow [Red One] to get within two kilometers before they discover the ruse.
[Red One] must locate and disable the prototype Corvette while eliminating any Imperial threat. Then you must protect the capture team when they arrive. Once captured, the Corvette will be sent on for final preparations.
