It was a cold day, not counting space where it's always cold. Physically planetside, the snow was howling, as Rebel forces finish what was started last mission by landing on the ground to drive the Imperials off the planet. They've been entrenched with companies of troopers and walkers, but all the "Rebel" forces had was a small strike team. It'd look handsome, but that would be omitting the Empire's ability to develop their forces; upgrades and build their own reinforcements.

Not only that, but Lieutenant Commander Jay...He felt like his crew wasn't looking at him the same. Sure his files are clean and whatever mistakes he made before were atoned for, but...There was this bitter feel in the air, an unspoken emotional stink kind of like moldy bananas if it could've manifested itself physically. It was almost as if they were questioning their own loyalty and trust for the Commander.

He was determined to set the record straight and clear once and for all: he is not one to abuse his position!

The snowspeeders went out to scout, maybe look for a way to help slow down Imperial production or minimize their resources to use for fortifying their already tight position. The main attack force marched on while the infiltrators went to claim a bunker the snowspeeders found. "It isn't much," Commander Forerunner plotted, "But we can use whatever help we can get." His forces had a single building that spawned a few extra soldiers, something he didn't notice until far too late. However, there was no means for upgrades or additional developmental options.

As the snowspeeders began to sweep around a couple of Imperial mining posts, soldiers came by the groups; along with a mauler and a standard AT-ST. Meanwhile, a couple of enemy vehicles peeled off from the Empire's main resources to attack Jay's marching force, something unexpected. As soon as he was aware, the Commander made sure all fire was focused on one target at a time. The AT-AAs were of some concern, but seeing them in the middle of the field made Forerunner know the base should be ripe for his speeders to get started on.

Eventually, this turned into the biggest battle, with the mass of Imperials and the mass of Rebels confronting one another. It was around now that Jay learned of the extra reinforcements his lone facility produced, but it wasn't until near the attack on the main base that those forces could join up with the main attack force. He knew he was bound to lose a few good soldiers this fight, noting the records of his peers and their performances. Thankfully, he didn't lose as many as he thought he would've.

By the time the mission was over, he knew an exercise in multitasking is exactly what he needs. Aside from the mission going as smoothly as anyone would expect, there was nothing noteworthy to add to the report, and the Commander was not about ready to pad his reports.
