Using information gained in the recon sweep of the outpost, we have come up with a plan to eliminate the VSD Nightwing.  One of our freighters has some "information" on it that was "stolen" from the Imperials...or so they think.  They have dispatched the Nightwing in pursuit of this freighter.  Your mission is to ambush the VSD Nightwing and destroy it.  Be alert for signs of any elite Imperial squadrons in the area.

It is highly unlikely that Admiral Eil Isuka, the commander of the Nightwing, has been ordered to recover the information intact.  He is probably under orders to simply  destroy the freighter to prevent the information from falling into the wrong hands.

We hope that by eliminating the Nightwing, we will be able to defeat Outpost Beta more easily.  Without the support of the Nightwing, the Imperials will find it difficult to hold the outpost against any large attack.
