ORW 3 Battle 4 Results and Competition Standings
Greetings fellow RS members.
Battle 4 of Outer Rim War 3: The Subterrel Conflict has concluded. With a tremendous showing by the Rebel side, in particular the Rebel Squadrons, the Rebel Faction won the battle, reclaiming lost territory and forging forward with offensive maneuvers against the Imperial and Sith forces. This week showed a surprising change in the basic setup of the competition, with JO losing much of the luster it had in weeks 1-3. Battlefront, Battlefront II, and Empire at War have continued to pick up additional matches, with more XvT and XWA matches being played due to the inclusion of additional clubs.
The winning faction in Battle 4 was the Rebel Faction, tallying up 1,495 points, 41 more than the bar set by the Sith faction last week. The Sith and Imperials faught a hard battle for second, with the Sith faction inching ahead of the Imperials by a mere 11 points (1,022 to 1,011). Remarkably, the RS on its own racked up 1,064 points, with our allies the NR5F, ELS and TRA contributing 363, 62, and 6 points respectivly. To see the results sheet, please visit the ORW3 "results" page. Fictionally, the Rebel faction has ousted the Selaris system from the Sith and the Ronnis system from the Imperials. The Sith and Rebel factions now each control 5 planets each, with the Imperials controlling 2. Be wary of an Imperial resurgance in the upcoming weeks, and stick to your guns! The RS made an extremely strong showing in this last battle, with participants leading the pack in nearly every aspect of the battle. The RS member with the most matches played was Jester with 28 matches. The player with the most total wins was Reb Jaxra, who went 19-5. The highest winning percentage of matches was between Kaz (18-0) and Raven (7-0), both of whom went undefeated. RS merits have been updated for participation, and Operational Developement Pins have been awarded to all participants.

With our victory this past weekend, it is necessary to make sure the Sith and Imperial forces know that we are indeed a force to be recognized. Please come out and support the Rebel Squadrons in the upcoming competition, every match played (won or lost) makes a contribution to our cause.
