Utilizing the game X-Wing Alliance, the Intrepid Battle Group is one of the newest fleets in the Rebel Squadrons. The much more realistic game engine and strong storyline of XWA has aided the IBG in growing steadily in numbers.
The IBG uses custom missions organized into Interactive Tours of Duty (ITODs) to determine who the monthly "Top Ace" is, as well as compete in its own fleet melee nights, and also with other clubs at large competitions where her pilots fly with distinction and honor.
