Bot Help

The Rebel Squadrons IRC bot is called MrBot, is always online, and has the capability to handle ICTE match-making. The DB also has an ICTE match-making script which individual users can download and run; !signup and !remove work the same way for that version as well.

Commands

Each of these commands may be sent in any channel that the bot is in, or in a private message to the bot.

!signup (game) (type): Adds you to the waitlist for the specified game and type. "Type" is optional and defaults to 1 vs 1. Accepted types are "1v1" and "2v2". Example usages:

• !signup XWA
• !signup EaW 2v2

!remove: Removes you from the waitlist that you are on. There are no parameters. You will be automatically removed if you leave the channel or quit IRC.

!icte: The bot will tell you if its ICTE mode is activated and signups are being accepted.

!servers: The bot will give you the latest list of gaming and chat servers that it has.

ICTE administrators only: !icte on|off (channel) (password) — Activates or deactivates ICTE mode. Example usage, to start ICTE: !icte on #outerrim obviously_this_is_not_the_actual_password
