  Proof is needed of our ability to offer protection to members of the Alliance.  The Leafar have begun to challenge the Empire and are certain to face retribution.  Alliance forces are therefore being sent to protect an important transfer point near their system.
  If we can protect their shipping from Imperial attack we will have gained a new ally.

  You will lead a five ship group of X-wings from Red Squadron.  Stay near the transfer point and be prepared to intercept any Imperial threat.
  An Alliance Task Force led by the Cruiser Maria and the Frigate Whitehawk is in this sector and will reinforce in case of a large scale attack by the Empire.
  You must ensure that as many merchant ships as possible survive.
