Discovered about the same time as the other star systems in the Cadrel Expanse, the Yuen Lon System fell during the final push of the Rebel Squadrons in the Cadrel Expanse Conflict. Having faced a line of recent defeats, the Imperial factions in the Cadrel Expanse were exhausted and met the RS forces with little resistance. Once the system was liberated, the doorway for a full assault on the planets of the Oberon System, and completely driving the Imperials out of the Expanse, was opened.

WanCai
WanCai is a small, rocky planetoid orbiting about three AU's from the Yuen Lon star. Apart from a rich mineral vein, the planet is too small and insignificant to care for. In spite of this, WanCai has sparked some interest from small time mining companies to exploit its mineral vein. The Nexus Mining Corporation has chartered the planet and already established a small space colony in orbit to house workers and serve as a transit point.

A massive planet, augmented with colorful and ever large rings. The larger rock formations that did not become part of Tsai's rings formed a sort of planetary asteroid field. While the planet itself has proved untouchable, the asteroids were once used as research and exploratory facilities by the Old Republic. Added to this prize, early explorers chanced upon an easily restorable space dock.
While this fossilized technology is quite old, it will serve its purpose once again as restoration teams have given new life to the discoveries, and the Rebel Squadrons gains an easy to use prize. As if the bonuses for victory were not enough, the planet's immense size prevents surprise attacks, giving a defensive advantage the victors of the system.
